Gender equality is now being seen in various areas, including business. In the past, women were not much seen in action in the corporate world. Today, many women are successful in various industries they are in, including the tech industry. Here are some of the men who tied the knot with some of the most powerful women in the tech field.

Anthony Paduano

Anthony Paduano is a lawyer and a partner in the law firm, Paduano & Weintraub. He received The Thurgood Marshall Award back in 1998 and was also named New York “Super Lawyer” several times. He was still taking up law when he married Ruth Porat in 1983. Porat is the current CFO or chief financial officer of Google and Alphabet Inc. Prior to this, she also served as the Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group and as Technology Investment Banking co-head.

Cameron Poetzscher

Cameron Poetzscher is the vice president of Corporate Development of popular app service Uber. He first worked as a consultant at Booz & Company, then as an associate at Goldman Sachs and COO of M&A for Asia-Pacific. Cameron Poetzscher and his wife Varsha Rao both attended Harvard University, where they met. The couple married in 2007. Rao is the former Airbnb head of global operation. During the beginning of her career, she worked for McKinsey & Company as an engagement manager. She also co-founded an online retail site for accessories and beauty products called Eve.com and served as the general manager and VP of Oldnavy.com.

Mark Rometty

Mark Anthony Rometty is an investor in the Bam Oil Company. He also holds the position of secretary and treasurer of the said company. Rometty has been married to IBM CEO, president, and chairman, Ginni Rometty for more than 30 years. She is the very first woman to lead IBM. Ginni Rometty first joined the company in 1981 where she served as a systems engineer. She climbed the ladder to success and held the positions of group executive and senior vice president before getting her current position as the CEO. After graduating in 1979, she worked for General Motors Institute where she met her now husband Mark Rometty, who was also starting his professional career. Ginni Rometty describes her husband as having been fully supportive of her career.

Mohandas Warrior

Mohandas Warrior or Mohan is the director, president, and CEO of Alfalight Inc. The company offers services from designing to manufacturing of electro-optical systems and rugged lasers for security, aerospace, and defense applications. He is also an independent director of POET Technologies Inc. He is married to Padmasree Warrior, who is the CEO of NIO US.

These men proved that they could handle powerful women and support their spouses in their careers.
